ABOUT NEW JERSEY SCHOOL PUBLIC RELATIONS ASSOCIATION

The New Jersey School Public Relations Association (NJSPRA) is a state chapter of the National School Public Relations Association, nationally recognized for its efforts on behalf of school public relations professionals. Members represent school districts and independent PR agencies throughout New Jersey. For more than 18 years, NJSPRA has provided professional development, training, resources and collateral support in all facets of communication to education communities across the state.

SPONSORSHIP OPPORTUNITIES

Workshop Series Sponsor - $5,000

A series of 4 professional development workshops are offered to NJSPRA members, as well as non-members, throughout the school year (September 1 – June 30). Workshops focus on cutting-edge communication programs; how to respond to today’s critical education issues; rebuilding trust and public support, student performance, communication technology, media relations, handling crises, branding and marketing, public engagement, social media, customer service, diversity and tolerance, education advocacy and other school-communications related issues. As a sponsor of the workshop series, you will gain exposure to an influential audience of communications professionals and school leaders.

 

Sponsorship benefits include:

1. Logo and “Signature Sponsor” level prominently displayed in marketing and event materials

2. Logo, acknowledgment, and link prominently displayed with event information on NJSPRA website and online registration invite

The Individual Workshop sponsorship includes sponsor benefits for one (1) workshop.

 

School Communication Awards Program Sponsor- $5,000

NJSPRA’s School Communication Awards recognize outstanding print and electronic collateral material in New Jersey educational communications programs. The primary role of the professional school communicator is to disseminate important information about schools and school districts to all constituencies. NJSPRA developed the School Communication Awards competition to recognize professional school communicators in New Jersey – and the products they develop – that go above and beyond to disseminate important messages to their publics. This school communications program is open to all New Jersey public school districts and organizations who support them with related services. Following are the awards categories:

Graduate Student Scholarship Sponsor - $2,000

The NJSPRA Graduate Student Scholarship Program is a great offering to a deserving Rowan University student that demonstrates exceptional educational work and activities in the field of communications/public relations. The scholarship recipient receives a check in the amount of $1,000 and the opportunity to present in front of the NJSPRA membership.

The Graduate Student Scholarship Sponsor will have prominent placement on all communications and print material related to the Graduate Student Scholarship presentation.

 

NSPRA Seminar First-Timer Essay Contest Sponsor - $2,000

The NSPRA Seminar First-Timer Essay Contest is a great offering to a deserving NJSPRA member who is interested in furthering their professional knowledge by attending the National School Public Relations Association Seminar over the summer for the first time. Members will compete for a check to cover the full registration cost of the seminar.
