Associate Superintendent
Santa Rosa City School District

“What is DEI?” If you asked 10 members of your community, would you get 10 different answers? DEI work is crucial for the wellness of students and staff, but DEI is often misunderstood and can become polarizing. In this workshop, we explore defining this work and ways to communicate your district’s initiative with all stakeholders.

Dr. Kimberlee Armstrong, Associate Superintendent of Educational Services, currently serves Santa Rosa City Schools. Prior to that, she served as Executive Director of Equity and Public Relations in Washington State. Dr. Armstrong has served in public schools since 2002. She holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communication from California State University East Bay. She later went on to earn multiple degrees including a Doctor of Education Degree in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies with a Washington State Superintendent Certification from University of Washington.
